In a year-end report outlining the agency’s priorities and accomplishments, DHS said illegal border crossings dropped 93% compared with the previous year, fentanyl trafficking declined by roughly 50%, and hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants with criminal records were either arrested or deported.
