KENNEDY SILENCES TIM WALZ AFTER HE DEFENDS SOMALI FRAUD WITH “WHATABOUTISM”

WASHINGTON D.C. — A Senate oversight hearing on the massive pandemic relief fraud in Minnesota ended abruptly today when Governor Tim Walz walked out of the chamber following a humiliating verbal dressing-down by Senator John Kennedy (R-LA).

The confrontation heated up when Senators pressed Walz on how his administration allowed the “Feeding Our Future” scheme to siphon $250 million in taxpayer funds through fake daycare centers—many of which were run by Somali immigrants.

Cornered by the facts, Walz attempted to deflect by invoking a racial comparison.

“We have to be careful not to stigmatize a specific community,” Walz argued, appearing flustered. “Let’s be honest, Senators… a lot of White men commit crimes too. We don’t focus on them like this.”

The “Fatal” Rebuttal

Senator Kennedy, peering over his glasses, let out a short, incredulous laugh. He leaned into the microphone and delivered the line that sucked the oxygen out of the room.

“Governor, you are absolutely right. White men do commit crimes.”

Kennedy paused for effect, his voice dropping to a deadly serious tone.

“But usually, when white men rob a bank, the Governor doesn’t leave the vault open for them, hand them the cash, and call it ‘equity.’ The criminals in Minnesota stole the money, Tim, but the only ‘White man’ I see guilty of a crime in this room… is the one who signed the checks. And that is you.”

The Walkout

The accusation—that Walz wasn’t just a bystander but the facilitator of the theft—left the Governor stunned. Kennedy didn’t stop there.

“You aren’t a victim of fraud, Governor. You’re the getaway driver. And now you want to blame the passengers?”

Witnesses say Walz’s face turned bright red. Without offering a rebuttal to the “getaway driver” comment, he hurriedly gathered his binder, signaled to his aides, and walked briskly out of the Senate hearing room

while Kennedy was still speaking.

“He ran because he had no defense,” Kennedy remarked to the remaining Senators. “He wanted to talk about race. We wanted to talk about the receipts. And he took the receipts with him.”
