MUSLIM BUSINESS OWNERS THREATEN MASS EXODUS AS TRUMP CALLS FOR ILHAN OMAR’S DEPORTATION

WASHINGTON — A dual crisis is unfolding across the United States as escalating tensions between the Trump administration and the Muslim immigrant community threaten to spill over into both the economy and the halls of Congress.

In a dramatic development, groups of Muslim immigrant business owners—operating essential services like gas stations, laundromats, and car washes—are threatening a coordinated shutdown. Their message is blunt: they plan to liquidate their assets and “take their money back to their home countries” because they “fear for their lives” under the new administration.

“Fear for Their Lives”

The backlash stems from President Trump’s newly imposed safety and vetting rules targeting nationals from a handful of “high-risk” countries. While the White House insists these policies are vital for national security and have nothing to do with religion, many in the immigrant community view them as a direct target on their backs.

“We built these businesses, we pay taxes, but we do not feel safe anymore,” said one spokesperson for the loose coalition of business owners. “If we are not wanted, we will take our capital and leave.”

Trump: “Time to Deport Ilhan Omar”

Far from softening his stance to quell the economic unrest, President Trump has poured gasoline on the fire with a blistering attack on Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN), the most visible Muslim woman in American politics.

In a fiery statement, Trump did not mince words, calling for her immediate removal from the country and reviving allegations of immigration fraud.

“Ilhan Omar should be sent out of our country,”

Trump declared. “She should be, she should not be allowed to be a congresswoman. She married her brother, either to stay or to get him into the country.”

“She’s a Con Person”

The President also accused Omar of fabricating a recent incident involving her family to stoke victimhood.

“And yesterday she, I guess, made up a story,” Trump continued. “She said the police attacked her son. They, they stopped the car and the police said, ‘we never attacked him, we never stopped him,’ it was a made up story. She’s a con person, she’s full of con.”

The accusations—ranging from incestuous marriage fraud to lying about police brutality—mark a scorched-earth escalation in the feud.

As business owners threaten to turn off the pumps and close their doors, and the President calls for the deportation of a sitting member of Congress, the divide in America has rarely felt wider.
